SPSN 2009 Masters Contest (the "Contest") is a contest of skill that requires each contestant to select five different golfers from the starting field in the 2009 Masters Tournament at Augusta, Georgia (the "Tournament"). If any of the golfers selected does not play, misses the cut or withdraws from the tournament, the contestant will be eliminated from the contest. If all contestants are eliminated by the cut, the contest will continue using those tickets with the highest number of remaining golfers.

 

The Contest is stroke play, meaning the aggregate score for the contestant's five golfers will determine their position relative to the other contestants. The lower the contestant's aggregate score, the higher the ranking. The top contestant, ranked from lowest to highest aggregate score, at the end of official play (the end of the Contest) will be the final prize winner. The Contest does not take into consideration any Tournament play after the regulation 4 rounds have completed.

In order to obtain the complete contest Full Service Package, which includes 1 entry in the Contest, the ability to input and change golfer selections via the web site, access to Contest reports and rankings along with a personalized access code to the web site, contestants must register their entry via the web site and pay a service fee of, if by credit card, $50 (plus GST). Registration on the web and payment by credit card is open until 6 am (Pacific Time), Thursday April 9, 2009.

 

No responsibility will be taken for contest registrations or entries which are lost, delayed, damaged, not received properly on the web site or any other electronic means including the Internet. All entries become the property of the Contest Administrator and none will be returned.

 

The Contest is open to all residents of British Columbia who are 18 years of age or older. Residents of all other jurisdictions are required to ensure participating in the Contest complies with local law. The Contest is void where prohibited by law.

 

The Contest is neither affiliated with nor endorsed by the PGA Tour, Augusta National Golf Club or any other organization. Golfer names and statistics are used for informational purposes only. Statistics supplied are from sources believed to be reliable.

 

All Prize payouts must be accepted as awarded and will be awarded only to the qualifying contestant(s) named on the entry form. Identification will be required and a skill-testing question must be correctly answered before any contestant is declared a winner. Taxes, if any, are the responsibility of the contestant. Chances of winning the Contest are dependent upon the skill used in picking golfers and the total number of eligible entries. The contest is subject to all federal, provincial and municipal laws.

The Contest Administrator reserves the right to disqualify any contestant or to withdraw or amend the contest at any time in its absolute discretion in case of error, technical problem or any matter interfering with the conduct of the contest as contemplated by these rules. The decisions of the Contest Administrator are final on all matters of fact, interpretation, eligibility, procedure and fulfillment.  By entering this contest you acknowledge acceptance of all contest rules and agree to be bound by them.
